First, I would like to congratulate you! As the bride to be, there are a lot of exciting things coming your way. You have a great wedding to plan, cakes to taste, decorations to pick out, and a speech for the bride, you. I’m sure you have a lot on your plate, so I will make this as easy as possible. You want to be very prepared for your speech. You can begin writing immediately after the proposal. I know you may think, that’s a little extreme, but speeches for the bride are very important. Nothing is worse than, forgetting to say something that you wanted to.
First, we are going to talk about your introduction. This will set the tone for the rest of your speech. Next, we’re going to talk about your speech as a whole. Finally, we will finish up with your closing. These three things are very important to ensuring great bride speeches. Breaking the speech up into introduction, body, and closing allows you to organize your thoughts. This will guarantee that you clearly and concisely convey your sentiments and feelings. You want to be sure and prepared with what you are going to say on your special day.
First, let’s talk about your introduction. Thank your bride’s maids/maid of honor. Let them know how grateful you are to have them there, on your wedding day. Mention how beautiful they look. It won’t take away from how gorgeous you will look. It will only make them feel more appreciated and special. Acknowledge how helpful and supportive they were in the planning process. Certain times during planning can cause for emotional support. Let your guests know, you was there for you in those times. You will definitely show your gratitude to your friends. This is very important, and necessary.
Next, let’s talk about what to say in your speech. Mention how happy you are to have been raised by your parents. Express your gratitude for all they have done for you and the wedding. You will want to mention how you met the groom. You can express how you felt when you met him. Tell him how you feel about being his wife. Let his family know how happy you are to become a part of the family. It’s fine if you need to write down names. You can make a name list. In the moment, when everyone is looking at you, you can be overwhelmed. This sometimes can allow you to forget things you normally wouldn’t. Allow your feelings to flow. Speak from your heart. That is the key for good bride wedding speeches. Add a little humor, and don’t make it too inappropriate. Keep in mind the elderly, and children.
Finally, let’s talk about your closing. Thank guests, and let them know how grateful you are to have them there. If you turn towards them, it will come across more sincere. They will feel more a part of your special day. Thank your wedding planner, for making the day possible.
